WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?

Access 2 Energy Justice (www.access2energyjustice.eu) is a new, open-source, visual project aiming to document energy and climate (in)justice stories around the globe, in the context of a ‘Just Transition’ that ‘leaves no one behind’. It builds on findings and discussions conducted during the ESRC Just Energy project (2017-2021). https://esrcjustenergy.wordpress.com

WHAT IS THE AIM OF THE PLATFORM?

We want to raise awareness of the complex issue and aspects of energy injustice, from energy poverty to systemic neglect and contempt of the population and the climate, to portraits of persons who fight every day to assert their rights and inspiring communities.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

We welcome the protagonists that are facing energy injustice or those with stories of resolved energy injustice to share their experiences on this platform. These stories will also form a repository that all can access and benefit from. They will give hope to affected people and communities and encourage them to find solutions, in a spirit of solidarity. We invite everyone, from everyday people to researchers, activists and energy communities, ombudsmen to energy suppliers, to comment and contribute.

ACT NOW!!

In a few simple steps :

1

Write a brief summary of your project / story to help people to understand what your project is about

2

Collect some pictures of your project / story to create a gallery. This will support people with a visual experience.

3

It would be great if you could show a video of your project / story too. People are always attracted by videos!

GO!

Get in touch with us and send us your text, pictures and video. We'll create a DEDICATED page for your project and publish it on the platform.

It's easy, it's useful for the community and it's free.
